This is inspired by a night of live music at Mélange in New Orleans.  My sister and I wandered in from the street to find this amazing band and a dizzying group of swing dancers.  We stayed all night sipping sazerac and feeling like we had traveled back in time.

One Day Without Shoes

April 16th is 'One Day Without Shoes', a day to bring global awareness to children's health and education by going without shoes.  I am too much of a germaphobe to walk around barefoot (what if I have to use the bathroom?), but I did design a Tom's shoe to be auctioned off next Tuesday.
